* 음악이나 곡으로 우열을 가려서는 안된다고 생각하는 입장이지만, 확실히 '내 귀를 열어주었다'는 생각을 들게 만드는 앨범들은 분명 있다. 우연히 이 곡으로 찾아들은 앨범 'Black Radio' 역시 그 중 하나. 일년 전의 나였다면 이 앨범의 진가를 제대로 감상할 수 없었을 거 같다는 생각을 하며 혼자 뿌듯해했다. 평소 많은 음악 커뮤니티들이 쓰는 '귀가 트인다'는 표현이 너무 자만심에 차 있으며 우리들만의 리그적인 인상이 강하다고 생각했으나, 그것의 존재 자체는 인정해야 한다는 생각도 든다.(요즘 나 스스로 그런걸 느끼며 대견해해서 일지도- 나 역시 허영심 강한 일개 닝겐일 뿐..!) 이럴 때는 내가 좋은 음악을 들어왔고 점점 더 자신의 음악적 지평을 넓혀가고 있다는 건방진 생각을 하며 스스로가 대견스러워지기도 한다. 물논! 늦긴 했다. Black Radio가 그 해 R&B 부문에서 상을 탔기에 ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ 하지만 누구보다 먼저 알고 늦게 알고가 중여한가? 내가 발전하고 있다는 느낌이 들면 그만. 오늘도 이 노래 들으면서 자야지. I'm not quite sure what I'm supposed to do, so I'll just write some love to you..
